What is SafeRec?
Powered by AI, SafeRec provides a new type of payroll compliance by auditing umbrella company payslips in real-time. All payments are individually crossed-referenced with RTI sent to HMRC, and RTI payments are cross-referenced with the umbrella company’s HMRC Tax Account.

How do Umbrella Company UK employees use SafeRec?
Umbrella Company UK officially became a Certified SafeRec Umbrella Company on the 24th of July, 2023. When we pay you for the first time after this date, you will be sent a separate email from Payslip Buddy. To activate your Payslip Buddy account and view the payslip audits, follow the instructions in the email. Once you have activated your Payslip Buddy account, you will be emailed a payslip audit every time we process your payroll and notify you we have issued a payslip. You can also log in to Payslip Buddy and check your payslip audits as and when you please. It really is that simple! SafeRec and Payslip Buddy are completely free-of-charge for our employees.
